Teardrops on TV
Ordinary caravans don’t really appeal to the main stream media so when the makers of Granada Television’s ‘Ade in Britain’ needed something distinctive for Adrian Edmondson to travel around and cook in, fortunately for us they chose our Classic Teardrop. It was used for both series of this highly popular programme, resulting in many positive comments and enquiries.
Crabbies Ginger beer is a brand of distinction and our Classic Teardrop was used as a feature in their spring advertising campaign. The Classic Teardrop was also featured on the Alan Titchmarsh show where the merits and fun of caravanning were discussed amongst a group of professionals from the caravan world.
The Caravan Channel visited us in our workshop and a six-minute film was made and shown on their dedicated caravan TV channel. An online website feature showed a group of Teardrops and our Classic Teardrop was rated as one of the World’s Top 10 Teardrops. The Mail on Sunday also featured our Classic Teardrop in their spring/summer Sunday magazine on glamping and alternative camping styles.
ITV’s Good Morning show ran a week-long series of features, hosted by Laurence Llwelyn-Bowen, in the run up to the Jubilee Celebrations, showcasing our Toyhauler.
We were introduced to the nerve-wracking world of live TV when our Classic Teardrop was featured on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch. Very exciting!
London’s Heal & Son department store featured our Classic Teardrop in their stunning central window display for their spring promotion.
We fitted one of our Classic Teardrops with a genuine wood burning pizza oven, which went on to win Best Looking Mobiler at The British Street Food Awards 2013 in London. A huge achievement for all concerned.
